About

My name is Duncan Webb, I’m 22 years old, and I have been a fan of video games for as long as I can remember. Initially this meant all of the educational games you can think of, as these were the only games my mum would be willing to spend money on. As such I probably played hundreds of hours of Clue Finders and Math Blasters throughout my childhood.

Of course as soon as I started to make friends at school I would go over to their houses and proceed to be amazed by all of the games my friends had. Shortly thereafter I would be humiliated by them in games like Tekken and Crash Team Racing. So I always wanted to play “proper” games myself, and eventually I was able to get my own game console, a Nintendo Game Cube and from that day on I became part of the large online community involved with video games.

For me this started when looking up guides on finding all of the starts in Mario Sunshine, or how to go about unlocking all of the characters in Smash Bros. Melee. I would spend hours searching the internet for the best guides and information I could find, and this lead me to the IGN guides.

I have been an almost daily user of ign.com ever since, and over the years I have been fascinated reading about games and listening to the people that write about games and their opinions.

This WordPress website is my attempt at doing my own writing about video games, I don’t know if I’ll be any good at it, or if people will want to read what I write, but I figured I would give it a go. As such I will to be posting regular articles on my gaming opinions, and I hope to work up to an article a day.

I hope you enjoy reading my articles, and please feel free to leave any comments you wish, if I’m lucky even the negative comments will help me to improve my writing.
